This striking ceramic relief sculpture depicts a lively scene of boys playing soccer. Created in 2003, this piece is the result of a meticulous process that began with a sketch and ended with a final firing. Expertly crafted from a slab of clay, each layer was carefully pressed into the clay to create the dynamic "relief" effect. The sculpture was then glazed with a slip glaze and carefully wiped to reveal the finished piece. A true work of art that captures the spirit of childhood play and the beauty of handmade ceramics.
